Lioness – a poem by Nancy Fijan
And when the wind blows, she tethers herself to the strongest tree –
And when the rain falls, she closes her eyes, tilts her face up, and feels each drop –
And when the sun shines, she plants seeds, knowing each one will grow –
And when the moon rises, she is enamored by her reflection, and she dreams.
Fabulous poem to today’s celebration of International Women’s Day!!! Hugs!
