Graceful Shores

Inspired by a special light in my life, a beautiful man – a poem by Nancy Fijan

With eyes of a dreamer,
standing still on the Barassie shore,
staring out to sea,
musing of her,
squinting at love –
Glowing tinges of a setting sun wrap around him,
Like nylon, and her giving embrace.

Enduring memories,
reflections of precious time spent,
smoldering, he smiles –
knowing she gives him reason.

Believing in her light,
she fills his marred heart.

Hands falling off,
longing to rest on,
to feel, her tenderly.

Brushing stray silken hairs away,
sore fingers illuminate her –
you’re gorgeous, his vox,
her hovering face.

O Sweet Reverie!

Walking in the sand,
each day, hand in hand –
blessed souls recharge.

Graceful shores perpetually await.

  1. I am writing to let you be aware of what a remarkable encounter my wife’s child went through going through your web site. She mastered a good number of issues, with the inclusion of what it is like to have a wonderful giving mindset to get many more just have an understanding of various complicated topics. You actually did more than our own expectations. I appreciate you for offering such warm and friendly, healthy, revealing and even cool thoughts on your topic to Evelyn.

  2. I’m impressed, I need to say. Actually rarely do I encounter a weblog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me let you know, you’ve got hit the nail on the head. Your concept is excellent; the issue is one thing that not enough people are talking intelligently about. I am very joyful that I stumbled throughout this in my search for one thing relating to this.
